Business schedule changes

New dates & times

This year, we’re hosting the annual business meeting and related activities April 25–27, before A’17 officially kicks off. We’re making this important change so delegates and attendees will have more time to experience the event.

Accreditation

Accreditation will take place outside the expo floor, near registration. This change streamlines the process for delegates, who can be accredited when they pick up their registration materials.

Accreditation hours

• Tuesday, April 25, from 12–5pm
• Wednesday, April 26, from 6:30am–12:30pm

Anyone who is not accredited by 12:30 on April 26 will not be able to serve as a delegate or vote.

Regional caucuses

Regional caucuses with candidates will be held Wednesday, April 26, from 1:30–2:30pm.

Candidate speeches & annual business meeting

AIA’s annual business meeting, which includes the 2018 candidate speeches, will immediately follow the regional caucuses on Wednesday, April 26, from 2:45–5:30pm.

Voting

Voting will take place outside the expo floor, near the registration area.

Voting hours

Thursday, April 27, 10am–3pm

In the event of a run-off election, voting will take place on Friday, April 28, from 10am–2pm.
